Bio
Joe Goodwin is a certified Master Personal Trainer, holding the top certification under the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  He has trained a variety of clients, both athletes and non-athletes throughtout New England, including the well known Boston Sports Club.  Joe is dedicated to teaching people the correct ways to exercise and how to live a healthy and balanced life-style.  His goal is to help change the lives of others by making them look and feel better about themselves, and to become healthier overall.

Joe has taken his knowledge and dedication and created NH Powerhouse Fitness, located in Goffstown, NH.  NH Powerhouse Fitness is focused on breaking down fitness to help people better understand the correct ways to exercise and diet.  There are too many gimmicks about exercise and dieting, the only way to lose weight and become healthy is a combination of exercise and good nutrition.  NH Powerhouse Fitness teaches all levels of athletes and non-athletes the correct exercises, builds you a personal program, works with you one-on-one, creates a nutrition plan, and ensures that you get the results you want.  It is not an easy road to change an unhealthy lifestyle, so let NH Powerhouse Fitness be the one to help you through it!

Athletes
Joe has worked with top trainers, coaches and players nationwide over the years to learn exactly what is needed in order to succeed at the highest level.  He has trained athletes in sports such as basketball, soccer, track & field, and football.  He has taught European players how to adjust and compete to the American fast paced sports.  His camps, clinics, team sessions, group sessions, and one-on-one training are intense workouts that teach you what you need to know in order to put together a personal program that will help you reach your goals.  After working with Joe you can guarantee that you will be training the correct way and you will see an increase in your strength, foot speed, endurance, vertical, and overall coordination which will lead to better skills in your sport.  Joe's main focus is intensity, dedication, and the love for the sport!

Methods
Joe's methods are different than what most young athletes are used to.  He exposes athletes to the reality of what college and professional sports demand.  His programs involve all the essentials (weight training, plyometrics, endurance, balance, and skills).

Hope
During Joe's basketball career he suffered from hip injuries and had double hip surgery.  He was told that his basketball career was over.  He went through almost 2 years of rehab.  The doctor's told him it was not possible to recover and play at a high intensity level, but with Joe's knowledge of athletic and personal training he was able to get himself back up to a high intensity level.  Joe has a passion for helping athletes and non-athletes coming off of injuries to reach their goals.

Mission
Joe wants to help open doors for young athletes through training and help non-athletes change their lifestyles by giving them the knowledge of training the correct way and the confidence to do it!
